2007 was an outstanding year. The news of Kate’s pregnancy and the birth of our first real-life-baby-human-monkey-bundle-of-joyocity was/is something else. So much fun. If you hadn’t gathered already, I am quite taken aback by my girls.

We bought our beautiful little eastend flat back in June, that’s a good 6 months already. Kitting it out, making it ours, compromising on taste, it’s been great. I love compromising.

We had trips abroad to Barcelona - a good city but watch how you land; Dublin for the Guinness; Paris for the Rugby and Cuba for the cigars and skin cancer.

Then we had a fantastic xmas where I was totally spoilt by the Stepford Wife. Just the 3 of us, an easy slam-it-in M&S turkey, a Chrimbo tree, lights, stockings, booze and a snooze. It was perfect, thanks Kate.

Then finished it all off by heading down to Brighton for NYE. Auntie Em and Uncle Neil looked after her highness whilst we went out and ate and drank. A midday dip in the sea with Em, James and Dan then spent the rest of the day sufering, in fact Kate and I suffered so much that by the time we were back on the M25 heading home, Em called to say I had her keys still. Then she called back to say she has mine. And Kate’s. Then we very nearly ran out of petrol. So we turned around, headed back to Brighton, didn’t play Pictionary, but we stayed a bonus night and were treated to a very good curry made from scratch by Neil. Up the next morning at 0515hrs in order to make it back to work on time.

The Plan is slowly coming together, more info on that as soon as we have something more solid.
