As Banksy’s popularity went through the roof over the past year, I followed the bear and went to an exhibition with my younger sis Aly a few months back. The cheapest print they were flogging was £1200. Barry’s Bargain Basement. I bought 5. No I didn’t.

Cycling between work and home I spied one of his rats etched on to the side of a BT cable box that looked weak enough to be easily cut out. I have hatched a plan to acquire it: I was to get me a hacksaw; a willing vagrant; £50 before and £50 after; watching him from across the street so that 1. he doesn’t run off with the £50; 2. he doesn’t run off with my hacksaw; 3. he doesn’t run of with my art; 4. so I’m well away from the scene of the crime. Kerching, a sound investment.

[Update, 08.05.2008: Someone's obviously read this and followed through with the idea. It's gawn and the box has been replaced. Darnit.]
