Right, my previous attempt at getting this blog going coincided with me leaving the country and being a tad unobtainable for a while. Now I’m back and into some kind of routine, I’ve found a moment (0103hrs) to type something that I want to type.
So we’re 4ish days since the bombs around town. I was actually due to be late into work last Thursday the 7th, so as soon as I’d found out they had shut the tube system (at that point still to find out the reason why), I was working out what I might have to say if my tardiness was questioned. Of course like everyone else, once in work and the news was coming through, all I could do was surf around for as much info as possible. (Sky news seemed to be the quickest).
My immediate thought was that I’d like a fight with whoever did this. Secondary thinking now is that that’s probably the kind of logic that got us in this state in the first place.
I definitely feel that there is more community since this happened. London is my favourite city in the world, I’ve always said that. This has only reinforced that belief yet again.
