Just stopped off in Aylesbury (middle England, do not bother) for a break from the road and to watch the Wimbledon women’s finals (Venus will win).
Am heading up to Cambridge for Aunty Mary’s 60th birthday, it’ll be a good one.
Moreover, can anybody tell me why I received an unexpected, anonymous, Madrid post-marked envelope containing nothing but a cheque for £3,700 in the post this morning?!

[Update: Naturally this turned out to be a scam, some joker got in touch after I posted an ad for my flat on craigslist . I banked the cheque but it got sent back to me a week later stamped FRAUDULENT. Shame.]
