Another great weekend down, continuing the general theme of going out and giving it some overkill (hence the lack of posting recently I guess). Friday night’s annual dinner with my old regiment was really good. Good to catch up with the lads, good to hear the tin-canning, good to live a bit of the high life amongst the grand setting and decor of Armoury House.

Naturally, I got into a couple of ‘discussions’ about what f*ck we’re still doing out in Iraq and Afghan and how futile and f*cked up the situation is (in my humble opinion). Came into work this morning to read yet another obituary on the MoD intranet. So so sad.
