I took the ‘Commentary’ (nee ‘Comments’) out of my blog soon after I’d set it up properly last year. In case you’re not au fait with the workings of blogging software; just as we all receive spam in our email, so blogggers are liable to receive webspam through the comments forms in their blogs. If comments are left open, a site can very quickly be deluged with those interesting links mostly about how to get a larger nob. So I turned off the comments.

I’ve switched them back on (no, I don’t haven’t changed my mind about the augmentation offers) but now the comments need to be approved before they appear, please let me know if there are any problems with the system but otherwise, do feel free to chip in, chirp up or speak your mind.
